Tangier
A whitewashed port at the meeting point of the Atlantic and Mediterranean, with fast links to Spain.
Tangier is one of the easiest Moroccan cities to combine with Spain thanks to its airport, high-speed rail and ferry links. The city stretches from the old kasbah to the modern waterfront. Stade Ibn Batouta is included in current 2030 planning, with final tournament use still to be confirmed.

75,000 seatsTangier’s expanded major-event stadium, also known as Grand Stade de Tanger. It is part of Morocco’s proposed venue programme, pending confirmation.
Southwest of central Tangier near the airport road. Taxis and buses serve the area; expect event-specific controls and shuttles for major fixtures.

Arriving and getting around
Tangier Ibn Battouta Airport is west of the city. Tanger Ville station is the terminus for Al Boraq high-speed trains to Rabat and Casablanca. Ferries use Tanger Ville or Tanger Med, so check the exact port. Petit taxis are the simplest local option.
